Two Cameras, Two Perspectives, One Vision: A New Photography Team for Your Events

Photography captures more than just images. It freezes moments that words cannot fully describe.

That is the foundation of a new proposition Dr. Hakeem Ali-Bocas Alexander is rolling out alongside lead photographer Mackenzie Pond, who goes by Kenz.

The concept is refreshingly simple. Clients book a photography team that delivers two completely different styles from the same event.

Kenz brings trained precision, in-camera effects, and expert post-production editing. His portfolio is available at KENZOFTHELENS on Instagram, and his work spans years of dedicated practice.

Hakeem brings a raw, intuitive approach—point, shoot, and deliver straight from the memory card.

Why this combination works is rooted in the dual nature of photography itself. Some moments need to be shared immediately. Others deserve careful composition and polished refinement. With this team, clients receive both.

The raw photographs arrive quickly. These are unfiltered captures from Hakeem’s camera, available within hours of the event’s conclusion. They give clients instant access to share with family and friends while the celebration is still fresh.

The polished photographs from Kenz take a few extra days to perfect. They are carefully edited, color-graded, and balanced for prints, albums, or professional portfolios.

Hakeem describes the partnership as one born from friendship and shared passion. The two are capoeira training partners, an Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines dance, music, and play. Both share a love for the physical practice, and that camaraderie naturally extended into their creative work.

There is deeper meaning behind the equipment Hakeem brings to the team. His primary camera is a Sony Alpha, and his backup is a Nikon D610 that belonged to his late wife Flor. She was a passionate photographer who carried a small camera everywhere she went. When she visited New York in 2019, she passed away unexpectedly. Her camera stayed with Hakeem, and for years, he could not bring himself to sell it or give it away. Keeping it in his camera bag, he would occasionally take it out and look at it, wondering what to do with it.

Meeting Kenz changed that. The discussion about photography gigs led to an idea. Hakeem already had the marketing skills and network to promote a photography service. Kenz had the technical expertise and professional eye to lead the creative direction. Together, they formed a team where two cameras work side by side. One camera shoots raw and delivers fast. The other shoots with precision and delivers polished excellence.

Clients receive coverage from multiple angles that a solo photographer simply cannot provide. There are two physical bodies capturing different perspectives during the same moment. This creates a richer archive of images, from candid reactions to carefully composed portraits.

The team is already active across MonarchCityBuzz.com and HAKEYM.com, with plans to expand their presence.

For those who need immediate access to photographs or want the flexibility to edit raw files themselves, the raw delivery option is available.

For those who want museum-quality prints and expertly crafted galleries, Kenz delivers that as well.

This hybrid model serves both the impatient social media user and the discerning collector. It eliminates the single biggest friction point clients face around delivery timelines and creative style.
